Born in Victorville, CA. to Ken and Patricia Hemingway in 1953. Moved to Ontario, CA. in 1957 where I went to school through high school (Chaffey High School). Graduated in 1971. Started working part time in a screw machine shop (Jade Machine) in February 1971 through June 1973 while attending Cal Poly Pomona college. In 1973 started working part time in a HVAC manufacturing plant (Jade Controls) while continuing my college education. Graduated from Cal Poly with a BA in Physical Education in 1976 and attained a CA teaching credential in June 1977. Continued working at the HVAC mfg. facility through 1983 as a Purchasing Agent. Moved into sales in 1984 and then transitioned to a screw machine company (GOE Engineering) as Sales Manager in 1986. Started working at Alger Precision Machining, LLC in 1990 as Sales Manager. Became Vice President of Sales in 1996, then Executive Vice President in 2004 and President in 2008. All of my training was through PMPA Management Update meetings as well as National meetings and PMTS shows.
